Traditionally, Pilates is a form of exercise that works on conditioning the core muscles of the body to support the spine and limbs and improve posture, balance, breathing and pelvic alignment.
Clinical Pilates also works on this basis, however, it is tailored for each individual and as a result, it is typically taken up by people recovering from injury or struggling with conditions such as lower back pain and hypermobility. Lauren teaches Clinical Pilates on a one-to-one basis, with a maximum class size of three-to-one. This is to ensure classes are tailored to your specific needs and to enable Lauren to focus on your positions, breathing patterns and balance. You’ll develop muscular strength and tone to help to rehabilitate you from your injury or pain, to keep you out of pain for longer! Classes last for one hour (including consultation, assessment and Pilates session) and cost £25.
